Presses

Printing presses are designed for printing purpose. AP&T designs, manufactures and markets automation, presses, tools and complete production lines for the sheet metal and tube forming industry. They are experts in forming technology and automated processes, and we deliver complete production systems where we assume complete supplier responsibility - a concept which we call One Responsible Partner. AP&T's hydraulic presses are available in a basic program with deep-drawing presses. We develop optimal concepts for presses for different types of press operations depending on the area of use. The concepts are based on technically advanced modules of hydraulics, control systems and frames. The presses can be delivered as individual machines or as components of a complete production line. AP&T also manufactures and markets hydroforming presses with locking forces of up to 200,000 kN. HF is a hydroforming press and a part of the unique hydroforming module concept from AP&T. AP&T manufactures and markets hydroforming presses with locking forces of up to 200,000 kN. Hydroforming means that metal blanks are formed with high-pressured water against a tool into finished details. This production method has many advantages. Complex details can be produced in fewer steps, with higher precision and to a lower cost. This, in turn, cuts the throughput time and the result is more flexible designs. The HF press consists of a rigid frame and a guided short stroke pre-forming slide. The hydroform process is carried out inside the hydroforming tool placed in the press. The design is appropriate for long parts that require a small deflection and high stability in frame, press table and tooling. AP&T’s hot forming lines play an important role in helping the manufacturers continue in the right direction.
